After years of inaction, 2019 is an opportunity for Oregon to fully fund its commitments to students, teachers, seniors, parents, people with disabilities, and working families. Our benefits as workers and the future of all Oregonians rely on the legislature holding corporations accountable to pay their fair share.

On May 20th, thousands of our members and allies will rally at noon and march to the Capitol to demand that legislators use 2019 as an opportunity to make a game-changing investment in quality services. We are United for a Better Oregon!

Members traveling from more than 200 miles and who would have to leave their home before 7 am are eligible for lodging the night of May 19th. If you live less than 200 miles from Salem and are traveling to the event with a Consumer Employer, you may request an exception to the lodging policy by contacting revrally2019@seiu503.org

Those who are unable to reach their residence by 9 pm (including allotted one hour dinner break) after the meeting are eligible for lodging the evening of the meeting.

One-half the total overnight room rate (tax included) will be covered for the individual member, thus room sharing is strongly encouraged.

Any additional fees and/or charges (eg. single occupant, smoking, pets, and failure to cancel on-time) will be billed back to the individual member, excepting when they receive a single room at no fault of their own.

Please note: If you are not willing to share and instead select your own room, you will be invoiced afterwards for one-half of the hotel room rate per night (tax included).
This does not apply to L99 members who need to stay with their client or members who have a medical exception on file.
